A keen metal detectorist who unearthed what looked like a chocolate coin was stunned to discover it was an Anglo Saxon gold pendant. <br /> <br />Rachel Carter said it was "like winning the lottery without having known what the ticket was worth" after she stumbled across the 1,500-year-old pendant - which dates back to the Early Middle Ages around 6th century. <br /> <br />The 41-year-old initially mistook the Anglo Saxon jewellery for "a piece of junk" when she pulled it from the ground at her friend's farm near Marshside in Kent.<br /><br />Welcome to SWNS TV.
